Every year we surprise and delight hundreds of thousands of guests at our headline events – Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival & Members’ Meeting.

We’re looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Event Assistants looking to spend the summer with us during the key part of our event season.  You will join a fun and passionate Operations team who are responsible for the planning and delivery of these spectacular events.  You’ll join the team to build the Festival of Speed, one of the largest greenfield event builds in the UK, before moving on to enjoy the build, theatrics and set dressing of the Goodwood Revival. 

In this exciting and fast paced role, you will support our permanent Event Planners in delivering the events, gaining a huge amount of experience in the operations and logistics of building world class events. You will gain a huge amount of knowledge in large scale event delivery, working within a fantastic team. 

Ideally candidates will currently be undertaking Event Management or similar University courses and looking at this opportunity as  a way to build relevant experience ahead of a career in events, potentially at Goodwood!

What you will need:

• A passion for delivering Events, ideally studying Events Management or similar at University
• To be gregarious and enjoy working in a team
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to use your initiative, multi-task and think laterally 
• A passion to deliver a great customer experience
• The drive to get stuck in to the practical build
• A valid UK driving licence (ideally)
