IT Services Department We are seeking to recruit a Learning Technologies Trainer to the Technology Enhanced Training Team in the IT Services Department. We require a highly motivated and focused post holder who can assist and contribute to the delivery of technology enhanced learning across the University. The post holder will work closely with the Manager of Learning Technologies and Skills Development to plan, develop and implement new technologies and skills required to enhance digital learning, teaching and working. As a member of the team, you will proactively support the development, training and communication of initiatives focussed at enabling digital literacy, and the effective use of technology for learning, in line with the University’s Learning and Teaching Strategy. In this role you will assist in the evaluation of technologies and methods, and you will support the development and user skills for learning technologies, including for example; Moodle, Turnitin plagiarism detection, Panopto lecture capture system, and Microsoft 365/Teams applications for online collaboration. You will need to demonstrate expertise in the theory and practice of blended, hybrid and distance learning pedagogy, as well as how to train others with the use of multimedia online resources. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work with an ability to demonstrate and promote a positive approach to change.
