Part Time Public Relations Executive

2-3 Days Per Week

Highly successful privately-owned business based in the North Chailey area has a newly created opportunity for an experienced PR professional to join their dynamic business. They're looking for 2-3 days a week with flexibility on how those are allocated.

The main purpose of this newly created role will be to use a wide range of media to build and sustain a good image for the Company's brand through planned publicity campaigns and PR activity. You would sit as part of their marketing department and report into the Marketing Manager.

Overview:

• Handling all aspects of planned publicity
• Executing strategies with the communication tactics of; news releases, media placements, web content, publication and speeches
• Track success and evaluate content and media coverage
• Writing and producing presentations and press releases for new product launches, campaigns and company news
• Brainstorming alongside the marketing team for new campaigns
• Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and the related organisations
• Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences and exhibitions
• Speaking publicly at press events
• Good communication with the team as to progress and success of a campaign
• Undertaking relevant market research
• Liaising with the team, senior management as appropriate, agencies and external media about timescales and objectives
• Use Google Analytics to report once a month on progress

About You:

You will already have experience working in Public Relations and you will be hungry for your next role which you can make your own. You'll have excellent writing skills and impeccable attention to detail. You should feel comfortable working autonomously and making creative decisions, as well as contributing to the wider marketing team's work.
