Harvey John are working with a fast-growing, multiple award winning Retail brand in their search for a Contract Management Accountant.

This role requires an experienced, qualified Management Accountant where you'll be supporting this small finance team across all areas. On offer is a 2-3 day part-time arrangement, with flexibility on how the hours are worked throughout the working week.

The ideal candidate will have had exposure across a varied range of responsibilities within a small finance team, from producing management accounts to payroll processing. You should possess a background within a similar high-growth, Retail SME business and be able to take a hands on approach to your work.

Key responsibilities:

• Analysis and reporting of weekly time management/clocking systems
• In-house payroll processing
• Cash flow forecast reporting
• Posting and checking daily sales, ensuring accuracy at all times
• Processing of stock movements and verification of stock counts
• Posting monthly accruals and prepayments calculation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with Management Accounts preparation
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting

About you:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Seeking flexible part-time work (2-3 days a week)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Sage advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Efficient and comfortable working to multiple deadlines
• Agile and comfortable working within a dynamic business that is going through growth and change
• Highly organised and enjoy keeping to schedule
• A strong communicator and supportive of non-finance colleagues through the business
• Pro-active and an autonomous worker
