Harvey John are working with a leading and high ranking regional firm of Solicitors in Tunbridge Wells who are looking for an experienced Head Cashier to join their team.

You'll oversee the Cashiering function of this established and busy finance teams. The position will also report directly into the Head of Financial Operations, offering excellent exposure to the financial strategy of the wider business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal finance manager looking to make their next step into a challenging, fast-paced and modern working environment.

Please note, this role requies an element of flexibility due to the developing workloads of the team and business.

Overview

Responsible for managing the cashier team and workloads, including all day to day aspects of the financial procedures outlined below. Other duties as requested by line manager, including covering for other team members. You'll also take a leading role in delivering robust compliance controls and ensuring team adherence to internal and external regulations at all times.

Your experience

• Experienced team manager within a legal environment, working at a senior level
• A natural people person able to deal with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including clients and partners
• Able to work using your own initiative, free from supervision
• Excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to demonstrate technical expertise and commercial awareness
• A skilled negotiator and proactive problem solver
• An organised and methodical individual, you'll manage priorities and achieve timely results according to deadlines
• Able to demonstrate confidentiality and integrity
