We are working with a top 20 firm of chartered accountants who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their large team based in their Heathrow office. With strong partners who are great at business development, there are lots of new clients coming through the door and therefore they need additions to their team. This is a great job for someone newly qualified, looking to branch away from that 'trainee' position and start developing their skills towards a managerial role.

About the firm

The Heathrow office is large, corporate and modern - a building that you would be proud to work in. Having recently been renovated there is plenty of space, multiple break out areas and impressive meeting rooms. The office is based in the centre of Egham, a 5 minute walk from Egham train station, or via junction 13 off of the M25.

About you:

• Should be ACA/ACCA qualified
• Late stage studiers with a true understanding and experience of the audit cycle are also invited to apply
• Likely coming from a mid-tier firm, with an understanding of what it will be like working for a top 20 firm
• Experience gained leading audits
• Possibly looking to join a larger firm to develop your skills with larger clients and more complex work
• Car owner and open to travel, (the majority of clients will be local)
• Confidence to hit the ground running
• Some experience of training juniors and reviewing work
• First class communication and presentation skills
• Excellent command of the English language

About the job:

• Carrying out audits from planning to completion, including preparing the budgets, reviewing previous audits and reviewing procedures at the end
• Review work of trainees and junior staff
• Work closely with managers and partners
• Preparation and review of accounts
• Supervise and train junior staff including regular job appraisals
• Delegate work to trainee staff
