As an integral member of the Careers and Employability team you will provide information and advice for students with their job search activity and employability, and support the delivery of efficient student-facing services within Careers and Employability. This is an exciting time for the Careers and Employability Service as they launch their new student facing central centre in January 2019.

You will act as first point of contact to deliver advice and information within student employability services including: promotion of services and centre, drop-in job and placement search, and application advice. Co-ordinate the support to the Graduate Outcomes survey and oversee the cover for the new employability centre. You will maintain online and paper resources, and supporting systems to ensure students may access employability services in a variety of different ways and media.

You will have knowledge of the student and graduate labour market and the range of employability opportunities available and have the understanding of the challenges facing students through their time at University. Having proven organisational and administration skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential, as is having strong IT, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
