A long established privately owned business based in the Hove Portslade area are recruiting a Financial Controller to join the senior management team. We placed the exiting Financial Controller with the business back in 2011 so once again working with the Managing Director to source this integral role within the business. The current Financial Controller leaves towards the end of January 2019, so hopefully that should enable a sufficient handover! About You

• You may be professionally qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA but this is not essential
• A proven, commercially minded Financial Controller happy in a hands-on role
• Confident and competent to take the lead finance role within the business ensuring financial control throughout
• Comfortable working as part of a small team with visibility across the business

As with most lead finance roles in an SME environment, you'll wear several hats! So along side your financial responsibilities there is the small matter of IT, facility and utility management. It goes without saying you will have good systems experience ideally with an ERP application as well as advanced Excel.
