St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices: St Barnabas House adult hospice in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice in Sussex. Our shops and Distribution Centre provide one of our most important revenue streams and offer quality items and a friendly service.
 
We will be shortly be opening a new St Barnabas House shop in Shoreham. This is an exciting opportunity to help set up and launch a new retail operation. 
 
Are you a highly organised, sales focused Manager who would love to recruit and lead their new team to success?

If so we are looking for an independently minded team worker who is passionate about customer service to join our team of Managers supported by our Area Manager.
 
Responsibilities include:
Delivering excellent customer service; managing a team of staff and volunteers; stock control; visual merchandising; liaison with the Distribution Centre for stock; using the EPOS system; daily cash handling and banking; ensuring the staff, volunteers, the shop and the site are safe and secure. 
 
Experience in retail, sales or a similar environment is vital and experience of working in a charity shop is highly desirable. You may have past experience of successfully launching a new business operation.
