Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

You will co-ordinate, deliver and support people who have a learning disability and/or autism to engage in a variety of creative arts workshops. You will actively engage in the local community by supporting people to access events and activities. You will be providing a stimulating, accessible and relaxed environment that encourages the people we support to try new experiences and acquire new skills. Workshops should cover a variety of different creative arts which could include (but not scripted) upcycling, painting, sewing, crafts, printing, pottery, drawing, knitting, dress making or any others you may have skills in. We believe creative arts are an important form of expression as it transcends communication barriers.

Your role would involve organising, planning and delivering meaningful activities and workshops covering a range of mediums within the world of art.
You will aim to produce a saleable product within most workshops and charge a small fee for customer focussed workshops generating an income contributing to the overall financial budget at MAKE. Provide training, support and appropriate learning environment for people with learning disabilities ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
