Telesales Executive (business to business software)
SeaRoc (part of the Fred Olsen global shipping and travel group) are looking for a driven individual with some previous telephone sales experience to work in our South Street, Chichester office in order to liaise with project managers in the offshore wind industry.
Our popular Sea Planner Software helps the offshore wind turbine industry to manage their projects and engineering teams; in this new role you could be contacting prospective customers of our software in order to give them an overview of the benefits of our service and to arrange an appointment for a product expert to meet with them to discuss further if they are interested.
We carry out a variety of email marketing campaigns and other marketing activities in order to build interest in our software and to draw up prospective customer lists - you will be involved in this.
Prospective customers also call us and you will be handling those initial enquiries, answering their questions, telling them more about our software and arranging an appointment for us to meet with them.
You would then be contacting a variety of businesses to establish who the appropriate person is to speak to about our software and to seek to have a telephone call with them. Thus whilst making a fair number of outbound calls is a key part of this role, you will be speaking to the same organisation and people on a number of occasions in order to build rapport and to deliver our businesses objectives.
The ideal candidate will either extensive B2C (Business to Consumer) telesales experience and a desire to move into B2B (Business to Business) or already have some B2B experience.
Full training will be given in our software and also the renewable engineering sector however we are looking for someone who will be genuinely enthusiastic about both so an existing interest in either of these areas would be an advantage.
There is the potential for career progression within our global organisation, initially there is the opportunity to assist the field sales team going out on some appointments with them to meet the customers you have been talking to on the telephone.
This is a new position due to the growth of our company and an increasing demand for our software.
