Healthwatch West Sussex is the established consumer champion for health and social care in West Sussex. It has been formed to deliver the Healthwatch service, working in partnership with Help and Care and the two West Sussex Citizens Advice Bureaux and supported by West Sussex County Council. We are delighted to invite expressions of interest for two Independent Directors to join the existing Independent Directors and the Chair on the Healthwatch board. At a local level, Healthwatch works to help local people get the best out of their local health and social care services, whether it’s improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Healthwatch West Sussex is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of services. Alongside Healthwatch England we are influential in making a difference for local people. We are seeking people who have leadership skills and aptitude to operate at Board level. The Board are seeking to appoint two people with senior management experience possibly with particular social enterprise, voluntary or research and development. You may have acquired relevant experience (such as leadership and governance) in a range of formal and informal environments, whatever your background it is essential that you have a passion for improving health and social care services and a genuine commitment to engaging all sections of the community.

INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR x 2 (TWO VACANCIES ON THE HEALTHWATCH WEST SUSSEX BOARD) These are voluntary positions but expenses will be paid. Applicants must be resident in West Sussex.
