We are investing in our Adults’ Social Care Services to support our priorities and in preparation for new responsibilities under the Care Act which start to become effective from April 2015. To help us develop and grow our service, we are looking to recruit motivated and experienced individuals to a number of social care roles. We are looking for a qualified social worker with a minimum of three years’ experience to set up a new team. This is an exciting opportunity to create a skill base to specifically deliver a high quality service in line with the needs of the Care Act. You will provide supervision and clear management to a team as well as overseeing the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to service users, so that they can access the services they need. You will have budget holding responsibilities, an ability to make decisions for your team and input the changes taking place within WSCC to ensure compliance with the Care Act implementation. Your leadership abilities will promote a culture based on dignity and respect for our service users.
