Focusing on person centred practice and offering quality supervision and support our Independent Living Service is recognised as a forward looking and innovative service. We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to work in our countywide Moving and Handling Team.

We are committed to supporting people with disabilities to live as independently and safely as possible. Due to a service development, we have an opportunity to recruit this temporary post.

You will have good communication skills, IT skills, drive and attention to detail. You must be able to work efficiently and under pressure. You will need to travel to training venues, customers’ homes and work independently in a variety of settings. You will be an expert clinical adviser on best practice in the moving and handling of people, responsible for providing comprehensive training programmes, expert advice and guidance including risk assessment regarding the moving and handling of people with disabilities and/or complex health needs and for those involved in their care.
