A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a team of Visitor Experience Hosts who will directly report to the Visitor Experience Manager. As a team you will ensure you provide exemplary customer service and offer a warm welcome for all visitors arriving to the Aldingbourne Country Centre.

You will ensure the new Quarry building is an attractive and welcoming place for visitors at all times. First impressions really do count – you will greet all visitors with a high level of customer service; whether they are visiting for a Great Day Out, a visitor in the Gift Shop, a conference delegate, a business meeting, delivering post / parcels or telephoning the Country Centre.

You will support the Visitor Experience Manager to continually improve the visitor experience and maximise every sales opportunity. You will support with the day to day tasks within retail including serving customers in the Gift shop, merchandising and replenishing stock, cash / card transactions and provide exemplary customer service. You will develop the skills and maximise learning opportunities for the people we support within all areas of retail, meet and greet and customer service.

You be responsible for answering the telephone, general clerical and administrative duties to ensure all visitor enquires are handled and responded to effectively and communicated to the relevant departments. You will work collaboratively with the Hospitality and Catering Manager to ensure conference bookings are communicated effectively and you will ensure our facilities are set up according to the booking requirements. You will encourage and enable the people we support to identify work opportunities in the department, providing evidence of their progression.

You will need to be flexible to work regular weekends, evenings and public holidays depending on the business requirements. Rotas will be agreed on a monthly rolling basis.

The contractual hours for this position is 22.5 hours per week, (working 3 or 4 days from 7)
