Financial Controller (Working From Home)

Harvey John is working exclusively with an expanding entrepreneurial business on sourcing an experienced Financial Controller to help ensure the effective management of their finance function. This individual will report to a Finance Director, who also works remotely, and also to the CEO. This specialist business is experiencing strong year on year growth, establishing an industry leading reputation, and continuingly expanding its customer base.

The circa 25 staff who work at this business all work remotely with occasional 'meet ups'. This person will also be required to work from home and manage their own time effectively, liaising with colleagues predominantly via phone and email. The CEO would like this to be a full time position (37.5 hours per week) but there is some flexibility around start and finish times. Despite many of the other staff being based in the Sussex area, this person can be based anywhere across the South East.

This individual will be tasked with bookkeeping duties, management and financial accounting, analysis reports for the board, and ad hoc project work using QuickBooks and Excel.

• Qualified Accountant
• A technically astute and experienced professional with a good breadth of accounting knowledge.
• A self-motivated, hardworking person who will see this as a promising career opportunity as part of a rapid-growth business.
• Someone who is familiar with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Ideally manufacturing sector experience however this is negotiable.
