Aspire Sussex Ltd plans, promotes and delivers vibrant adult education across Sussex, enabling people to achieve their aspirations. We are currently looking for additional ICT tutors to join our Business Skills faculty team to deliver sessional courses to adults (16 years plus) from September 2013 in the Crawley and Chichester areas. We offer both daytime and evening courses. Applicants should ideally have an adult or school teaching qualification along with recent teaching or training experience. Applicants without formal teaching qualifications are welcome to apply but, if appointed, must be willing to take the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Sector (PTLLS) course. In addition applicants will need excellent, up-to-date ICT skills including Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, Social networking and Internet. Experience of teaching ECDL Essentials and Extra qualifications would be useful, but not essential. Good communication, interpersonal and record keeping skills will also be needed along with the ability to develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals.
