The service is diverse, comprising hostel; intensive support unit and short break services. As Senior Support Worker you should have previous experience in this field and will need ability to supervise and as part of a professional team, use your own initiative and direct others. You must be committed to supporting and developing the rights, choice, inclusion and independence of adults who have a learning disability. West Sussex County Council offers a thorough programme of induction, training and staff support and supervision. Alternate weekend working and sleeping in on call will be required.
