Department Administrator - The Business School - Fixed Term
We are currently seeking a Department Administrator to join the administration team in the Business School. We are looking for a professional administrator to provide efficient, effective administrative support to the staff, students and other stakeholders. This is a broad role and will encompass some general administration tasks as well as the responsibility for specified key administrative processes.
You will have a good education with a high standard of numeracy and literacy. Liaison is important so exceptional communication and customer service skills are paramount, as part of this you will demonstrate empathy to the needs of students and an ability to deal with a large and varied staff and student group. In this varied role you will sometimes work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and sometimes under pressure. You will demonstrate a successful track record of dealing with conflicting deadlines and proactive problem solving.
