Teacher of Musis required for January 2018

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and innovative teacher of music. You will play a key part in supporting the development of the college in moving from good to outstanding. Moving forward, there will be leadership opportunities for the right candidate.

Visited by Ofsted in February 2017, the College maintained its ‘Good’ status, with the official report stating the following; “New teachers feel very well supported and all staff value the helpful opportunities for professional development in a culture of encouragement.”

The music department is a thriving subject area committed to enhancing student enthusiasm for the subject and improving individual pupil progress. Key Stage 4 uptake for music is strong and students benefit from a wide-range of extra-curricular activities in this important area.
