We need an enthusiastic self starting individual to join a small team at the heart of the families, children & learning directorate in Brighton & Hove. This role is crucial developing our communications approach. We are looking for someone with excellent people and communication skills who is happy to work independently. A significant part of the role will be spending time with different teams across the city and supporting them with their communication needs. This will range from video production, social media, internal newsletters and reconsidering how we share key messages across the city. The role requires you to be pro-active, able to work to deadlines and strong commitment to customer service. We are looking for someone with a passion for equalities and our communications need to reflect the diversity of our staff and service users. You will also spend time working closely with the council’s communication team to ensure you have specialist support throughout your apprenticeship and gain a wider experience of working in communications in a large organisation. You will be based in a modern office in Hove Town Hall. As an Apprentice you are also eligible to gain an NUS card. Your training will be delivered by Creative Process a leading UK provider of digital apprenticeships to achieve a Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification. Completion of the apprenticeship would also allow access to join as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership of BCS.
