Covers are the Souths leading family owned Timber and Builders Merchants with 13 Branches in Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and Kent.

We are currently looking for a Yard Assistant to work in our Timber Yard at our Head Office in Chichester.

Duties will include the picking and tallying of order, loading and unloading of Company and external vehicles, checking in stock, assisting customers and maintaining general cleanliness of the yard.

Applicants will ideally have experience in operating a forklift truck and experience of working in a Builders Merchants environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 07.30am to 17.00pm with a 30 minute break for lunch and one Saturday in two from 07.30am to 12.00pm.
