Our Energy team is part of our recently created Energy, Waste and Environment Directorate at West Sussex County Council. With ambitions to be regarded locally and nationally as a centre of excellence in all we do. It’s an exciting time to join our team.

An opportunity has arisen to work within our small but enthusiastic team, with lead responsibility for developing and delivering stakeholder engagement strategies and management of partner relationships on energy projects. The County Council and its partners are committed to making the most of opportunities within this sector and developing new ways of working.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to seek out opportunities and demonstrate persistence to secure identified benefits. You’ll be confident and articulate talking to people from a wide range of services and disciplines, and be able to make our work relevant to their area.
