Salary £30,785 to £33,437 per annum (pro rata £15,392 to £16,718)

Through the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System (IPEH), we work with children, families, and young people to help ensure that every child, family and young person is supported to achieve his or her potential. The foundations for future mental health, emotional control, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place in the early years and the home surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in determining positive outcomes for children in the future. The County Council provides integrated and coordinated education and social care services for children pre-birth to 25 years of age and their families.
The role holder will provide effective challenge, support and intervention to early years and childcare provision, hubs and schools. To deliver projects and initiatives to improve children’s outcomes; and ensure high quality inclusive practice in childcare (including out of school hours childcare for older children), education, family support and related provision as part of a wider integrated early childhood team. The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring that high quality childcare places are available to meet the needs of parents/carers; and that providers meet county and national requirements in running their businesses.
