Through the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System, we will work with children, families, and young people to help ensure that every child, family and young person is supported to achieve his or her potential. The foundations for future mental health, emotional control, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place in the early years and the home surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in determining positive outcomes for children in the future.

This role is key to ensuring service continuity and availability as well as contributing to the smooth running of services and the effective introduction of new services or processes. You will also assist in maintaining effective partnerships with a range of organisations and outside bodies (e.g. Jobcentre Plus, GP’s, Headteachers, voluntary sector) to ensure local community needs are met by the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System.

One of a dedicated team of Senior Integrated Service Assistants in Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help, you will be accountable for providing information and support and will have responsibility for offering information and guidance and front-line service delivery for families, children and young people in the new Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help system.

The post holder will also provide reliable, efficient and effective flexible support to the team relating to the delivery of the service whilst complying with statutory requirements. This will include responding to client queries, giving standard information and guidance relating to the service, maintaining records and producing standard correspondence, providing support and day to day processing according to set procedures.

As the needs of the families do not always fit into traditional working hours, in order to deliver the best outcomes for our families, it is expected that Team Leaders will at times have to work their contracted hours flexibly.
