Impetus is an award-winning Brighton charity helping people who feel lonely or socially isolated because of age, disability or poor mental or physical health. Our team of staff and volunteers help people make connections in their community to improve health and wellbeing. We offer a range of community support including befriending, advocacy and social prescribing.

Key work areas: Working in collaboration with Service Managers to develop a consistent approach to volunteering across the organisation, keep abreast of best practice in volunteering recruitment and management, developing a new team of central volunteers to support with fundraising, events and administration, championing the work of volunteers at Brighton and Hove Impetus both within the organisation and externally and supporting the work of the Fundraising Manager and the Communications Coordinator.

Candidates will have experience of recruiting, vetting, training and managing volunteers and an understanding of the needs of the service users we work with.
