Part of Advanced Energy, HiTek Power is an experienced specialist in the design and manufacture of High Voltage Power Supplies, providing both standard and custom-built HV power supply units and systems for a diverse range of industrial applications.

Due to a period of substantial growth, we are looking for experienced assemblers to join our team.

As an Assembler your role will be to perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies. Assembles electronic components, sub-assemblies and chassis to meet production schedules and performance standards. Duties and tasks are standardized but what is performed will vary day to day.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- 

  1. Uses Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or re-assemble units.
  2. Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature.  The ability to recognize nonconformities is required.
  3. Communicates openly and effectively in a professional manner.
  4. Understands and follows all safety requirements.
  5. Understands and follows ISO practices and procedures.
  6. Maintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  7. May assist with training other AE employees in established processes.
  8. Considers the impact of quality on the customers when making decisions
  9. Other duties as assigned.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED:

SKILLS: 

  1. Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
  2. Soldering skills preferred.
  3. Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
  4. Component identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation   required.
  5. Basic PC knowledge.
  6. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
  7. Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  8. Models positive and professional work ethics.
  9. Considers the impact to quality when making decisions.
