We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to join our team at the forefront of Adult Social Care.

We are looking for an individual who will work with adults from 18 to end of life with a variety of physical health conditions and disabilities. We also engage with adults with mental health illness, substance misuse issues and learning difficulties including high functioning autism and domestic violence cases. We also work with intentionally homeless clients, No recourse to Public Funds and EU Nationals.

We run a very busy Intake desk which is the first point of contact with a Social Work team and work closely with our Access Point and Occupational Therapy Team.

You will require good assessment skills and a confident telephone manner and relate well to individuals face to face.
You will require good understanding of Safe Guarding of vulnerable adults and mental capacity issues.

We aim to provide brief interventions to the most vulnerable in our society when they are in a time of need and to be able to stabilise the situation to enable them to gain more independence or to pass onto our longer term services.

We are looking for a BIA to join our DOLS rota or a commitment to train as a BIA.
