About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Social Workers/Resource Officers with the Integrated Continuing Healthcare Team. You will be part of a large innovative team of Social Workers, Resource Officers and Nurse Assessors based in Limousin House in Eastbourne. Adult Social Care is experiencing an unprecedented level of change with the implementation of the Care Act, closer integration with Health as part of ‘Better Together’, the introduction of a New Social Care Information system and ‘Agile’ working. All of these key change programmes impact on the Adult Social Care. 

The team undertake Continuing Healthcare eligibility assessments and reviews countywide and therefore applicants will need to have access to suitable transport.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
