About the Role

NHS Hastings and Rother CCG and Eastbourne, Hailsham and CCG are looking to appoint to our Stakeholder Engagement Lead post.

This is a critical post and we are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for engaging local clinicians and local communities in our work. We are ambitious clinically-led commissioning organisations working very closely with our member practices, patients and the public, partner organisations and other stakeholders to improve health and wellbeing and healthcare in East Sussex. So, you will have a strong track record in partnership work, key skills in engagement and consultation, and be an excellent communicator.

Our transformation programme, East Sussex Better Together is about making sure that across health and social care, we collectively use our resources to achieve the best possible services for local people. Our shared ambition is to develop a fully integrated health and social care system in East Sussex by 2018, ensuring every patient or service user enjoys proactive, joined up care that supports them to live as independently as possible and achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will, in partnership with East Sussex County Council colleagues, take a strategic lead on how we engage as part of East Sussex Better Together and will continue to implement the vision to create a wider platform for engagement with local communities and all this with an interest in health and social care.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
