GROUP MANAGER – FAMILY SUPPORT AND PROTECTION

Salary £47,470 - £50,274 per annum
Permanent, Full-time
37 hours per week
Based in Worthing

Due to promotion of the current post holder, we now have a vacancy for a Group Manager in our Family Support and Protection service based in Worthing. You will have overall responsibility for the line management and oversight of 4 practice groups covering the south east area of West Sussex

The Family Support and Protection service works with children subject to child protection plans, PLO and longer term child in need work. Our practice framework is based on Signs of Safety underpinned by knowledge of attachment and the impact of developmental trauma on children and families – all staff receive extensive training and support to implement these approaches

Our aim is to ensure that there is an improvement in outcomes for children in need and their families that is sustainable. The child’s experience is at the heart of our service: which means that everything we do and the way we do it can be explained in terms of impact and best outcome for the child.

As a Group manager you will be responsible for ensuring the principles and objectives of the service are delivered operationally and you will contribute to the senior management strategic vision for the Family Support and Protection service and also the wider children social care vision.
