Hours of work: 21.25 hours per week Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata) Fixed term for: One year from September 2016

About the Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team from September 2016.

The post will be to support learning in our Year 5/6 class. The hours of work will be 9.00-10.15 and 10.30 to 12.30 Monday to Friday (pay scale grade 3, points 5-7). There is a linked post to this job of Midday Supervisory Assistant, the hours for which are 12.30 to 1.30pm Monday to Friday (pay scale grade 1, point 2). We would consider a job-share for this post.

The post is initially offered for a fixed term of one year, and is term-time only.

The successful candidate will: - be willing to work alongside other professionals implementing the advice and guidance given; - work well as part of a team and have good communication skills; - be energetic, enthusiastic and consistent in their approach; - be flexible and able to think on their feet; - be able to deliver planned work 1:1 with creativity; - be firm and consistent in their approach.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
