Finance Manager / Bookkeeper

An award winning and expanding business, based in rural Horsted Keynes is seeking a diligent and committed Finance Manager to join them in a pivotal role for the business. This individual will work closely with the Managing Director / business owner on ensuring effective financial control for the business and, alongside their external Accountant, play an integral part in the decision making process and driving the business forward. This is a unique, interesting business with an attractive consumer offering that many individuals will have an interest in. It is experiencing good year on year growth and being recognised within its industry.

Key responsibilities:

- Purchase, sales and nominal ledger
- Credit control
- VAT & Intrastat
- Bank reconciliation
- Prepare BACS runs for payment
- Ad-hoc accounting duties
- Knowledge up to trial balance would be a benefit

Ideal candidate must be:

- Fully competent in QuickBooks.
- At least 3 years relevant accounts work experience.

- Organised.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Confident manner with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritise and organise workload.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
