About the Role
Want to deliver real change in the places we live and work?
The SE LEP are looking for a strategic lead to join the secretariat to be the main point of contact for the Managing Authorities, the Growth Delivery team and the wider stakeholder group facilitator. Reporting to the European Structural and Investment Fund Strategy (ESIF) Sub-Committee and the SE LEP Strategic Board, the post holder will ensure that the programmes are delivered in the SE LEP area on target and on time.
Working with private sector groups, Growth Hubs, local authorities, higher education institutions (HEI), research bodies, Rural and Skills Partnerships, opt-in agencies and other LEPs across the country plus the full range of stakeholders to raise awareness and to promote and publicise the ESIF opportunities to potential project applicants.
You will be highly organised, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a strong track record and strategic overview of EU Funding programmes, an ability to analyse EU policy, operational documents and reports and experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders with diverse interests. The host authority is based in Lewes, East Sussex, however you will be required to travel to locations across the SE LEP area.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
