Mill Chase Academy, Bordon

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Head of Mathematics from September 2016 to work closely with the Head of Department to improve the Mathematics provision further.  This role would be suited to someone who is ready for the next step in their career and will provide an excellent professional development opportunity for an aspiring Head of Department or a teacher wishing to lead from within the team.

 

The role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to work in a successful Mathematics Department.  You will be able to demonstrate talent, a range of teaching strategies with strong interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate pupils and other colleagues in the Department.  We are looking for a creative, engaging and passionate practitioner who brings Maths to life both within and outside the classroom.

 

You will be a member of an active forward thinking fully-staffed Department.  The Mathematics Department has four full time and two part time teachers of Mathematics, who together create an extremely positive learning culture based upon high expectations, the building of mathematical learning skills and a huge enthusiasm for the subject.
