New Tyne Resource Centre supports people with Dementia in the Worthing area providing, long and short respite stay and day care. Customers will have been assessed as eligible through Adult Services.

We are looking to recruit support worker positions to join our skilled staff team. You will be involved in a wide range of activities to encourage and stimulate customers through outcome based, person centred care that promotes independence. The support worker role includes escorting customers via the WSCC transport, providing active support with personal and physical care and engaging people in a wide range of activities in a way that is right for them: this can include reminiscence, gentle exercise, arts, crafts and conversation-based activities.

As a support worker you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge and be supported and mentored at New Tyne Resource Centre. You will have opportunity to attend training which is relevant to this role.
