We are looking for a well-motivated person to work with customers and help with enquiries.

With experience of working in a customer care environment, you will enjoy working with library customers and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be assisting customers to use self-service, tidying and shelving books and other library/clerical duties.

You will be computer literate and have the ability to use your initiative and work effectively within the team. You will also have active involvement in working with all ages, including children’s work (e.g. Baby Rhyme Time and Story Time) and volunteers.

This is an active role and some lifting will be required. There may be some lone working.
