Finance Assistant, AM4665, Worthing
Permanent (Full Time), £25000 - £30000

About You:
* Extensive background within the Purchase Ledger and general finance function.
* Confident user of Excel and ERP systems (eg. Oracle, SAP etc.).
* Experience of implementing and migrating data onto new systems is advantageous.
* Good academic record or working towards/ achieved the AAT qualification.

About the Role:
* Oversee the purchase function, including bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expenses.
* Manage payments by using the ERP system and various accounts packages.
* Calculate and process quarterly VAT returns, monthly Intrastat, and EC sales returns.
* Assist the Management Accountant with monthly journals.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Work alongside the Management Accountant in the implementation and migration of a new system across the business.
The company are currently based in Brighton but will be relocating to Worthing in summer 2015. Free parking onsite is available.
