Coastal West Sussex Mind (CWSX Mind) is a local mental health charity committed to promoting mental well-being in local communities and supporting the recovery and independence of individuals we provide support to.

This new role has been created to assist the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by taking responsibility for leading, managing and developing CWSX Mind’s operational services and additionally deputising for the CEO as required.

The post-holder will need to be a highly motivated individual who is passionate and committed to providing high quality and person-centred services.
They will need to be a proficient and confident operational manager with proven knowledge, skills and abilities as a leader and manager, ideally managing operational services in a mental health organisation or in a related health, social care or housing service. They will also need to have proven skills, knowledge and abilities around managing the delivery of contracted services and developing and maintaining effective partnerships with other agencies. Skills around developing new business including the process of tendering and negotiating contracts are also desirable.
