We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated individual who will work with a range of partners and all sectors of the community to support and help facilitate the development and delivery of programmes and initiatives to improve the lives of local residents. Your work will be across the Arun District, but will be primarily targeted in specific areas of Littlehampton and Bersted to make a difference to the neighbourhoods and the families that live in them.

You will have excellent communication, negotiation, diplomacy, organisation, problem solving and motivational skills, as well as previous experience in community development. You will have worked with individuals and groups in a community setting and also a range of statutory and voluntary organisations.

You will have experience in developing and leading projects to meet specified aims and objectives as well as monitoring and evaluating the projects. You will need to be customer focused with the ability to support existing community leaders to share good practice and agree required actions.

Reporting to the Community Safety Officer, you will provide support to the wider Think Family Neighbourhoods Team when required, as well as key partners, to enable delivery of all aspects of the Think Family Neighbourhoods projects and operations.
