Chef Manager – Worthing
Up to £27,000 plus benefits

Our client one of the UKs leading contract caterers and they are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to work for a new opening within the Health care sector.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and run the kitchen ensuring the smooth running day to day
• To lead, train and develop a professional and motivated team
• Responsible for all food production and menus
• Administration including payroll, stock and forecasting
• Cost control, working to budgets whilst growing turnover
• Ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene is adhered to at all times
• Maintaining company policy's
• Achieving KPI targets set by client
• To maintain and build a strong relationship between the staff, the residents and the client offering a professional and welcoming restaurant atmosphere

You will be a strong team leader, with excellent culinary and strong organisational skills. You will need to hold a professional cookery qualification, and have experience working within a similar contract catering unit. An intermediate food safety and health and safety certificate is desirable.
