We are recruiting the following positions for our established two and three bedded children's homes:

• Residential Support Workers
• Senior Residential Support Workers

Are you skilled and able to make a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people? This is a challenging but rewarding role supporting 10-18 year olds with emotional behavioural difficulties. No two days are the same and if you are passionate about helping vulnerable children with complex behaviours to fulfil their potential and are not daunted by challenges and the occasional setbacks, then please apply.

Skills required:

• Previous experience of support working in the field of residential care for children and young people
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and overnight in accordance to shift patterns and requirements (2 shifts on, 3 shifts off)
• Excellent people skills
• Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to undertake additional Qualifications (Level 3 Diploma CYPW) and training

Ideally you would have already achieved your Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People Workforce or equivalent.

We provide residential care for 'Looked After Children' and our eight children's homes are located in West/East Sussex and Surrey. We are a child orientated, needs led organisation established to provide a positive life enhancing opportunity for young people who are unable to sustain a placement in their parental homes, foster homes or conventional children's homes. We support children and empower them to face the issues both in their past and present that have caused them difficulties and provide outstanding outcomes for the young people we care for in the homes.

This rewarding opportunity is offering you a competitive salary of £14,452 to £18,419 per annum pro rata depending on experience plus sleep-in pay of £21.50 per night which equates to approximately £3,100 per annum pro rata.
