Finance Manager

Salary: £25,000 per annum (+ annual bonus available)



An exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to join an entrepreneurial private business in a pivotal role for the organisation. This individual will take full ownership of the finance function in this growing SME and report directly to Senior Management. They will drive and progress their finance function for the benefit of the company, providing analysis and recommendations for management.



The business operates in an industry which has experienced substantial growth over recent years and is predicted to continue flourishing. This open plan office is lively, productive and full of supportive, hardworking individuals and so suitable candidates will complement such an environment.



About You:

* You will be an experienced and technically confident accounts professional, with a background in a similar position, who has good commercial awareness and is keen to be a key contributor to the success and development of this dynamic organisation.
* You will have dedication, determination and the want to make a difference within the workplace through effective financial management, suggesting improvements and a pro-active approach.
* You will be a professional, confident communicator at all levels.
* You will have good I.T skills, especially concerning Excel which should at least be at the strong intermediate level.
* You will preferably have used Sage before.



Main responsibilities will include full management of sales and purchase ledgers, VAT, management accounts, creation and analysis of P&L's, reconciliations, processing payments, petty cash, cover for other administrative staff when necessary and ad hoc office duties.
