Stanhope Lodge is a busy service which supports Adults with learning disabilities, either resident at Stanhope Lodge or short break customers.

As a shift Co-Ordinator you will cover the role of Duty officer, leading the shift and sleeping in on call when required. Good communication and experience of communication through behaviour and the principles of positive behaviour support are essential to this role. You need to have good health & safety awareness and the ability to manage difficult situations using your own initiative and as part of the team. Previous experience of people with learning disabilities is required as well as experience of working in a residential or care setting. Within this role you will also work directly with adults with learning disabilities and assist in creating opportunities for the customers. You must have the ability to interact effectively with a range of customers through sound communication skills. You will benefit from induction upon commencement and training specific to the role. You will be required to work a combination of early and late shifts, including alternate weekends. Salary £18,638 to £19,817 per annum
