An amazing opportunity has arisen with in my clients manufacturing business. We are looking to appoint a Logistics and Purchasing Operative to join a faced paced team. You will be responsible for order processing, invoicing, queries, and general administration duties including but not limited to data inputting, filing and archiving.
Placing and processing orders with international suppliers to meet customers specific requirements – packing, labelling, quality.
Helping with the Company's customers queries and all requirements
Being able to deal with blue chip buyers/merchandisers in a professional and efficient manner
Supporting sales staff and taking over of orders once finalised right through production to delivery to the customer
Have a detailed knowledge of the Company's products, customers, procedures and processes to enable problems to be dealt with as they arise, often dealing with issues under extreme time pressure.
Liaising with sales team to keep them informed of any changes to customer accounts and to ensure that customer issues/queries are dealt with in a timely fashion.
Ensure that all departmental processes are adhered to, including maintenance of relevant forms and procedures and generation of new procedures as and when required.
Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Experience
· Experience of logistics/purchasing (Essential)
· PC Literate, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Essential)
· Numerate & Literate (Essential)
