Senior Accounts Manager

Based in Worthing, this prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants offers a variety of accountancy, taxation and financial services to a mixed portfolio of local and national businesses.

As part of their on-going growth and succession planning strategy, they have an opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA to join their senior management team .

Reporting to partners, your remit will be to:

• Provide a first-class support service to the practice clients
• Ensure that accounts & tax returns are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Deal with clients promptly and professionally

 

Additional responsibilities include:

• Planning, controlling and review of assignments in accounts, tax and IT
• Manage and train staff on assignments as required together with staff appraisals
• Preparing, monitoring and controlling budgets on assignments
• Report writing
• Attending training courses

 

To be successful, you must be a qualified ACA or ACCA and have strong accounting skills recently gained within a practice environment. A competitive package that includes paid overtime, pension, free parking, bonuses and CPD is on offer.
