We are looking for a dynamic person to join our team as Volunteer Coordinator coordinating and developing Impacts Advocacy volunteering programme, involving volunteers in a range of advocacy roles. The volunteer coordinator will recruit, train and support volunteers in a variety of roles across the service, including issues based and citizen advocacy and support with quality checks. Additionally the Volunteer Coordinator will liaise with external organisations to promote Impact Advocacy services volunteering opportunities via a wide range of communication methods

This opportunity plays a vital part in enabling us to support people to know their rights and make their own informed choices.

The successful candidate will have:
•excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•a commitment to and understanding of advocacy principles
•proven abilities of working with volunteers, individuals, groups and external organisations
•the ability to self-motivate
•strong organisational skills
