Beautifully set dementia specific nursing home based in the Worthing area requires Assistant Manager to assist with the daily running of the home, with focus on supervising a professional staff team in a pressurised nursing home environment.

The role requires up to date knowledge of CQC requirements and legislation as you will be giving direction on a daily basis, also medication and manual handling training are preferable as the role involves a level of service user involvement and interaction, you will also be responsible for various office tasks.

This role is perfect for an experienced senior or supervisor and is a great way to get on the ladder towards a management role in a challenging quality led environment.

NVQ 3 is preferable but not essential as experience is a more valuable commodity to succeed.

Role involves some shift work so you need to prepared to be responsible for the home at times when the manager is not present.
