Accounts Assistant

Permanent, Full Time (9am-5pm)

Salary £24,000pa

Harvey John is working exclusively with a high-end retail business on sourcing an experienced Accounts Assistant to help ensure the effective management of their finance function. This attractive and established business is experiencing good year on year growth and continuously expanding its customer base. Duties:

• Tracking receipts and payments
• Processing daily sales invoicing, updating sales invoice queries with customers
• Assisting with processing sales orders
• Reconciling account receivable receipts to invoices
• Credit control
• Approving purchase order invoices
• Ensuring purchase invoices are paid as due
• Payroll
• Processing and reconciling expenses on company credit cards
• Prepare monthly sales reports
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Prepare year end accounts

The ideal candidate will come from a similar accounts position and have at 5 years+ relevant experience. They will be a highly organised and detail focused individual who is able to effectively self-manage. Experience of payroll processing and Sage accounts system is also required.
