The Aldingbourne Country Centre is located on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We provide vocational training for people with learning disabilities across a range of activities and are an established visitor attraction in the area drawing over 60,000 visitors a year. We pride ourselves on giving people a great experience and have just been awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.

We are looking to recruit a minibus driver to cover the morning and afternoon transport runs around the Bognor Regis area. In addition there may be other driving duties required during the day so it is important the successful candidate can be flexible.

This is an important role within the team to build good working relationships with Country Centre staff, volunteers, and our clients with disabilities who will be your passengers.
 
Hours: Monday to Friday – by agreement, we aim to get our passengers to the Centre around 9 am and pickups start around 8am.

In the afternoon the return journey leaves here at 4pm. Bus runs normally take an hour or so plus there is time needed to embark/disembark passengers and carry out vehicle checks. We can be flexible about total hours worked but not the collection times. We will consider splitting the role and expect the average would be around 15 hours per week but we can adjust for a suitable candidate. In addition to this there will be the opportunity to get involved in the daily activities at the Centre and additional driving duties during the day. Salary will be in the range of £7.76 - £9.32 per hour,  (depending on experience)
